I'm Elizabeth,
Horses have always been at the heart of my life, and I am passionate about sharing the incredible landscapes and hidden gems that Dartmoor has to offer.
Having spent countless hours riding and exploring the moor, I created Creek Dartmoor Trekking to give fellow horse owners the opportunity to discover this special place in a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment.
My aim is to provide memorable experiences for both horse and rider, creating adventures that will stay with you long after the journey ends.
Life
As a proud mum of 3, family means everything to me. Alongside my family, horses have been a constant in my life and have played a huge part in shaping the person I am today.
Whether spending time with family, caring for the horses, heading off to a Western event, or riding across Dartmoor, I feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by the things I love most.
Passion
My passion for Western riding has become a huge part of my life here in the UK. Horses have always been at the heart of everything I do, but discovering Western riding gave me a deeper connection to the countryside, the freedom of riding, and the partnership between horse and rider.
One of the highlights was spending time working on a ranch in Montana, fulfilling a lifelong dream. The vast landscapes, endless trails, and sense of adventure were everything I had imagined and more.
Back home, I found those same feelings here on Dartmoor. Its rugged beauty, open spaces, and untamed character remind me of the wilderness I experienced in Montana. There is something special about exploring the moor on horseback, away from the rush of everyday life, surrounded by nature and breathtaking scenery.
